EP. 18 – a prayer for wisdom
What a privilege to have access to the living and active Word of God. What would happen if we prayed Scripture instead of filling every moment in prayer with our own words?
Here’s a simple and quick prayer to get you started:
- Praise God for Scripture
- Share with the Lord any strongholds around it
- Ask the Lord to point you to a passage to pray
- Ask the Lord for revelation if you’ve taken anything out of context.

I want to purchase a prayer journal, but I see the scripture page and don’t know what to do with it. I feel lost in my prayer life. Thanks for your help and guidance.
Patrise! Great question!! The Scripture section is a place to put some verses that will help reorient your mind to truth before you start praying. Sometimes it's hard to dive it and reading Scripture can help us focus. This video will hopefully help too! I am praying for you Patrise! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kJoxC1DV4eo&feature=youtu.be
