Color :: A Thanksgiving Feast

Thanksgiving is officially less than a week away! I thought I’d share some inspiration for a perfectly simple palette. I love the idea of a pared down traditional Thanksgiving. Think same fall colors, just a less fussy.

I fell in love with Chelsea of Oh My Deer Handmade’s DIY place settings. They are so simple yet so meaningful. I normally bypass hand drawn DIY’s because my handwriting is barely legible and will NEVER look like the photo but Chelsea created a template to allow you to trace her beautiful calligraphy. A beautiful handwriting if only for one day? I’ll take it! ; )

To keep the palette fitting, I thought tons of glowing candles on wood planks would add the perfect texture. I also loved the tea lights on ladles. I absolutely love the idea of using everyday items. Enjoy!!
