Yay!! Our new collection is here!! Every year, I am still stunned that there are new products the Lord places on my heart that relate to prayer. It seems like such a small niche (what could there possibly be to create besides a simple prayer journal, right?) but we’ve got 6 new products that I know the Lord is going to use in amazing ways to connect with YOU with Himself.
I wanted to share a bit first about the inspiration for this collection. I have done a bit of work on honing our message and figuring out where we fit in the niche of faith resources. The Lord made it super clear. He wants me to design products that are clean, simple and practical that will draw you into His humble presence and draw us away from a sometimes (ok many times) chaotic world.
The default is 24/7 stimulation. We don’t need products or tools to help us watch more TV or scroll through Instagram. We’ve got that down pat. What we could benefit from are products that will help us get intentional and help us discipline ourselves to spending time with the One who made us and loves us unconditionally.
When I’m drenched in the Holy Spirit instead of the world, my circumstances matter little to whether I have joy and peace and that’s an incredibly powerful thought. We are in control of our destiny. I don’t mean that in a woo-woo way. But whether we let the world into every crack and crevice of our lives is our choice and we gotta start realizing it’s worth investing in making sure that doesn’t happen.
The message that has been on repeat in my head this year (perfectly paired with my word for the year) is that Jesus died, not just for our salvation, but for us to have an abundant life right here on earth too. Romans 8:15 (MSG) says “This resurrection life you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life. It’s adventurously expectant, greeting God with a childlike ‘What’s next, Papa?'”
I’ve shared this verse no less than 5 times this year I’m sure but it always fires me up to stop living apart from Him and start cozying up to Him and looking for that expectant life His Son paid the ultimate price for.
As I thought visually about this collection, one image stood out to me.
A library tucked away in a garden.
- The library representing knowledge, quiet and solitude as we meet with God.
- And the garden representing growth, beauty, and rest in His presence.
You’ll see the theme weaved throughout the design, the colors, and even the color names. We have a special edition women’s prayer journal with this vision so beautifully illustrated by Rachel Jacobson who also lettered the journals as well! Even our photoshoot with Mae Mae Paperie and Brandon Werth shows this library in such a fun way.
Know that it wasn’t by accident.
When I dreamt up how you would feel holding these products, I wanted them to take you away to this quiet space of solitude, even if your reality is writing in your prayer journal while sitting on the couch with the Disney movies humming like mine is somedays! 😉 That library tucked away in the garden isn’t as far off as we think it is sometimes.
We just have to make an effort to resist the noise routinely. And that’s what our shop is all about.
Check out our new collection now!
We have 6 new products that I will be sharing more details about on FB live at 10:30 today!
